Espresso Lounge

A textural café interior designed to reflect brand, ritual, and rhythm.

As the flagship location for Milano Coffee Roasters, this café underwent a complete transformation — from raw industrial shell to layered espresso lounge. The design concept intertwined brand identity, ritual, and architectural reuse, minimizing waste by preserving existing features wherever possible.

Custom-built furnishings brought softness and craft to the space, while a sculptural feature wall — inspired by the rich tactility of coffee beans — anchored the interior with warmth and playful contrast.

The layout offers four distinct seating zones, balancing intimacy and interaction: cozy corners for solitary moments, social tables for connection, and structured areas for business gatherings. The result is a versatile, sensory-rich environment that reflects the culture and cadence of Milano’s community.
