Set in the heart of Yaletown’s industrial district, this podcast studio was a change-of-use renovation designed for a well-known radio host. The brief was to create a dynamic, guest-facing environment anchored by a visible sound booth — a central element meant to showcase the interview process and creative energy of the space.
We introduced a custom glass-enclosed “fishbowl” studio to provide sound isolation while maintaining transparency and connection. A concealed rear entry supports circulation and privacy for the host, while a mix of raw textures, warm lighting, and flexible furniture layouts ensure adaptability between live sessions, post-production, and casual hosting.
The space reflects the client’s personality — bold yet restrained — and supports both performance and pause in equal measure.
